About Us... (the abbreviated version)

smARTworks
“I want the work
that I do, and the work done using
my stamps, to be a blessing to others.”
It’s that simple.
"For we are His
workmanship,
created in
Christ Jesus unto
good works,
which God hath
before ordained
that we should
walk in them."
Ephesians 2:10
The "we" of smARTworks is really me, myself, and I -- Susan M. Trask, a forty-something
rubber stamp enthusiast residing in a semi-rural area of central Maine.

My incredible stamping journey began approximately eleven years ago (1998), and evolved little by
little, day by day, until the fall of 2004, when it took on an entity of its own called smARTworks.

From the beginning, my vision for smARTworks has always revolved around sharing what I love
doing in a quality way.  It is important to me to pay the joy of stamping forward, and to help others
be successful in their own artistic endeavors.

The mission statement for smARTworks includes, providing high-quality, affordable, user-friendly
products, and prompt, meticulous service.

Not included, is being like everyone else, doing things like everyone else, or getting as big as
everyone else... I do not believe true success is ever measured with a dollar sign.

Behind the scenes, you will find hubby Mark, and son Eli (age 12)*.  These two gems are my
staunchest of supporters, sometime artists, and biggest fans.  Without their support, all I am
doing, and all I dream of doing through smARTworks would be completely impossible.

In case you should ever wonder, any pet hair found accompanying orders is free, and has almost
certainly been donated by Whistling Dixie, a sweet-tempered canine of airedale-shepherd descent.
Her cohort, Captain Lou Licorice, would also like to contribute, but since he's a miniature, black
poodle who doesn't shed, must content himself with acting as resident security guard.

                                             *Purely Personal Trivia --
Together, Mark and I have raised four other children (3 boys and a girl) --
Eli, our biggest surprise ever, is the last of the lot.
